It's been a long few months but we've finally reached the climactic ending of the CW's latest super hero series. The Flash started in October 2014, featuring former Glee alum, Grant Gustin as Barry Allen. After an accident from an accelerator, Allen is given the power of super speed and tries to find the man that killed his mother and in turn, framed his father for a crime he didn't commit. The Flash, while lighthearted at times, never lets up on the serious tone, a note most likely borrowed from it's inspiration series Arrow, which crossed over in a handful of episodes. The series as well featured a a great supporting cast and managed to give us enough fun and interesting villains to earn a spin-off of their own. The action is stylish and some of the scenes even rival big budget speedsters like Avengers: Age of Ultrons Quicksilver. The Flash's biggest advantage however, is time. In an era where seemingly ever medium is being populated with a plethora of Super heroes, The Flash manages to give a wide arrange of emotional growth that we're not so use to seeing. The series is full of tricks and turns and some amazing nods towards whats next to come in Season two including another hero who will emerge from the S.T.A.R.R. Labs team. As to not spoil much for those who haven't seen it, this is seriously one of the best comic book based series on television and one you'll want to binge watch when it comes out!
