Without a doubt, Nintendo has and will continue to be the leader in the handled market despite the Wii U still struggling to be a hit compared to the Xbox One and PS4 consoles but, a surfaced patent for a device that will feature slots able to move around buttons and will be similar in design to the 3DS is causing a wave of excitement with gamers. Although, a lot of companies file patents for products that never see the light of day but, because this was filed last October and Nintendo is returning for a full showcase at E3 this one, one can only imagine what's going to happen. It's nothing new that video games and tech companies are looking at virtual reality as the future. Even with the social networking site Facebook shelving out an impressive 2 Billion dollars, the market is certainly beginning to show progress. Microsoft has registered two domains, MicrosoftAB.com and .net, while they currently only lead to bing search pages, Microsoft has spoken a bit about their history with Virtual Reality before. They've also released a statement stating that it's nothing surprising for Microsoft to purchase domains but they have also added a little fuel to the fire for their E3 2014 panel which I'm sure will be interesting virtual reality announcement or not.
