This previous Thursday, we saw the launch of the latest expansion in Blizzards long running MMO, World of Warcraft, but it didn't go exactly as planned. Long wait times and server problems led to a lot of games upset and unable to play the latest WoW title for many hours, upsetting one sub-redditor moderator to the point where he shut down the forum thread as a form of protest due to the outrageous wait times, which resulted in his loss of that position as well as an apology listed by one of the other members. All in all, there's good news for the games who suffered through this unfortunate wait time, Blizzard is now offering 5 free days of extra game time for any player with had an account active before or the lunch day for Warlods of Dreanor. What do you think? Do you think Blizzard should have been more proactive in preparing for this new launch or do you think it probably would have happened either way?

honestly? Sounds like another case of gamer entitlement. If your life is so tied into a fictional game world about green men fighting with swords and magic that you have to "protest" and rage over waiting in a queue LAUNCH day of a game with billions of players...then you are seriously lacking socially. Go do some push-ups or talk to another real human being face to face for once while you are waiting your turn to log in. Launch day has ALWAYS had waits. It's impossible not to with a customer base that large. I am a computer network administrator for gov systems which has a huge user base and even that is a challenge so I can only imagine. Protesting is ridiculous, especially against a company like Blizzard who has a great track record of giving good customer service, almost always without even being asked. Hakuna Matata people, sheesh!
