The emotionally driven trailer, set 15 years before where our story will take place, seems to show off some key characters as well as a dog and promise made by a father. Take a look and get excited as Gamescom continues! Gamescom is underway and it's brought us some awesome footage of some highly anticipated titles as well as some new surprises! (trailers will be posted below) - 343 studios announced that the sequel to the top down strategy title, Halo Wars, is getting a sequel and showed off a quick cinematic trailer. - Fianl Fantasy 15 has dropped a brand new teaser trailer and are even teasing a "new dawn," which should come very soon according to their twitter account. - Gaming's most unforgivable franchise, Dark Souls 3, gave us a new trailer teasing some awesome boss fights. - Microsoft also announced a limited edition Xbox One bundle for Halo 5 that any gamer will be dying to get their hands on. - Scalebound was missing from the recent conventions but we finally got a gameplay trailer that makes the game look supremely fun. - We also heard news on Crackdown 3 with a multiplayer beta due out in 2016. Stick around, there's plenty more to come! The team over at IGN (with photo credit to Mark Sallee) decided to import a Japanese copy of the latest Animal Crossing title, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and it's answered a lot of questions we've all been waiting to have answered. For starters, it looks like the separate 3DS NFC card reader will cost about 20 bucks and will only be needed for players who haven't yet upgraded to the New Nintendo 3DS handheld. The stand looks like it's a little bigger than the regular Amiibo platforms and will be able to read them as well. The bundle pack (which will most likely see stateside when the games released September 25th) comes with both the title, the NFC reader and two packs of cards. Seeing as they're over 100 options for houses you can decorate, I'm sure we'll all be buying these packs up. Take a look at some of the pictures, courtesy of IGN, below and see the rest here.
